LORENZO PANEBIANCO – Frate Precision Artist

We are happy to announce Lorenzo Panebianco,
as artist and endorser of our French horn mouthpieces.

Lorenzo Panebianco studied at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Music in Milan
under the guidance of Elvio Modonesi, graduating with top marks, and subsequently perfected his skills with Michael Holtzel.

He is one of the most active horn players in the Italian music scene.
He collaborates as “principal horn” with the major Italian opera-symphonic institutions
(La Scala Philharmonic, Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino,
Orchestra Sinfonica della Rai, Orchestra Mozart, Teatro S. Carlo of Naples,
Orchestra del Teatro Giuseppe Verdi of Trieste, Arena di Verona, Teatro Regio of Turin,
Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Petruzzelli of Bari, Orchestra Internazionale d’Italia).

In 1999 he was invited by Riccardo Chailly to fill the position of “principal horn” of the Milan Symphony Orchestra
and the following year, he was selected by Riccardo Muti to fill the position of “assistant principal horn”
in the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
He has held masterclasses at the University of Culture in Havana (Cuba)
at the Higher School of Music in Hong Kong and at the Etna Horn Festival.
Since 2001 he has been principal horn soloist of the Orchestra of the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari.
He has toured extensively (United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Russia, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Arab countries) playing under the direction of artists such as: Riccardo Muti, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Valery Gergiev, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Georges Prêtre, Riccardo Chailly, Daniele Gatti, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Yuri Temirkanov.

He is member of the teaching staff at the MHM (Mediterraneo Horn Meeting) in Minori.
He plays Frate Precision mouthpiece, size 7 HF.
